An ARCH Case Study on ‘Connected Health Technology: Private Pharmacies Competing Innovatively in Ireland’ has been published and is now available through Ivey Publishing.
Written by Dr Nicole Gross, Dr Niall Connolly and Dr Peter McNamara, the case study reflects on business model innovation within the pharmacy sector following deregulation of the industry in Ireland. The potential for adopting connected health technologies to improve the performance of the sector is addressed as well as analysis of the key players in influencing pharmacies’ profit margins.
This publication stemmed from work that was carried out during ARCH’s initial research phase on a project entitled ‘Pharmacy Industry Case Study’, which is available to ARCH industry members.
