Join us for a Breakfast Briefing on Friday 9th February 2018 from 7.30am-8.45am at NexusUCD, Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 4. for the presentation of findings from a recent online ARCH Survey on: ‘Irish Adults’ Willingness to Use Technology to access Mental Health Information, Support & Services’.
Presenters: Dr. Marcella McGovern & Dr. Louise Rooney., ARCH
Internationally, there is a wealth of evidence that Connected Health can empower people with mental ill-health and improve access to services through innovative delivery options. Despite a strained Mental Health service in Ireland, there is a scarcity of Irish companies operating in this space and few examples of Connected Mental Health solutions being used in practice. Consequently, there is a lack of empirical evidence regarding the Irish public’s willingness to use technology to access Mental Health information, support and services.
The aim of this Breakfast Briefing is to facilitate a discussion on the potential for growth in Connected Mental Health in Ireland and to explore the impact of sociodemographic factors (e.g. age, gender, education) and prior technology usage on future willingness to use various types of technologies to access Mental Health information, support and services.
Refreshments will also be served. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
