Growing a start-up requires funding. This funding typically comes from sales or more likely from external investment. Equity investments typically dilute the promoter’s shareholding. In this short informal lunchtime seminar, Dr Brian Kelly, CEO of ARCH member company NSilico, and also Principal Consultant with Pioneer Scientific Consulting Ltd. (PSC), will examine non-dilutive mechanisms of funding. PSC specialises in providing advice and strategic oversight to support the growth of early and mid-stage stage companies in the lifesciences and healthcare sectors.

Background:

In our upcoming series of members-only lunchtime seminars, we aim to drive the concept of “members learning from members” and to support networking opportunities. We encourage members to share insights, learnings and experiences in the field of connected health and the event also provides an opportunity for new members to introduce themselves. We will also cultivate ideas/discussions for potential collaborative projects that may be able to leverage ARCH core funding resources as well as mechanisms like EI’s Innovation Partnerships.

Lunch will be provided on arrival.

Note: This is a members only event.
