A 6 month contract position for a Research Assistant with experience in informatics, computational biology, systems biology or similar is now available at ARCH. The project involves the investigation, mapping, and costing of the human genomics sequencing pathway.
This position would suit someone with the required technical skills but who also has a commercial/entrepreneurial interest. The project is part of a commercial spin out and a candidate showing an interest in the commercial development of the company would be beneficial. The deadline for applications Friday 1st July 2016.
The other role is for a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1. The Post-doctoral Research Fellow post is available within the Centre in its Change research pillar.This pillar seeks to understand the macro, organisational and micro level change requirements and processes related to the implementation of technology in the healthcare sector. This is a research focused role, where the researcher will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
As this role is situated in an interdisciplinary collaborative centre, this role also entails close collaboration with the industry consortium, conducting applied business, social science and marketing research for industry purposes and collaborating with academic colleagues from a range of disciplines.
